  5. RoughDraft274 says:

Special 20 in C. Heard it was the best all around for the price from a few sites and people.

    hey!
I’m a real beginner and dont really understand what you mean to say by ‘overblowing’…i.e when the arrow is bent.

  12. harmonicanotes says:

Overblowing works like bending in that it causes the Blow reed to vibrate differently because you are changing how the air moves across it.

  13. harmonicanotes says:

    jurajschweigert Sent me this:
“@harmonicanotes the blow reed does not vibrate when you overblow, it gets stuck and the draw reed vibrates.”

Thanks for the information. It’s always good to learn new things. It’s why I do this.

  14. harmonicanotes says:

There’s a link to it in the information box.

  15. TheReedBender says:

@harmonicanotes – You seem to be confused as to the difference between a blow bend and an overblow in this vid. You cannot overblow hole 10. You can blow bend 10 by a half step and a whole step and you can overdraw. Holes 1-6 can be draw bent and overblown. 7-10 can be blow bent and overdrawn.

All I can say is thank you very much! I’m enjoying my harmonica a lot more than I thought I would.

Hey, what is the diference between the harmonicas? cuz I have 16 hole tremolo hohner one, I dont have other one and i dont wanna buy other one if i dont learn to play it first. Is it harder to play?
